Trosley Country Park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, and a mixture of woodland and open chalk grassland slopes with amazing views.

The chalk grassland at Trosley is classified as a Site of Special Scientific Interest, while the grassland supports an array of butterflies every summer, including the Chalkhill Blue.

There are 3 waymarked trails, a fantastic cafe, play areas and spectacular views over the downs.

For the more adventurous, the park is also a good base to visit the Coldrum Stones, an ancient listed monument of 15 sarsen stones.

MINIBEAST PARTY

Be a nature detective and go on a minibeast hunt to look for creepy crawlies in different habitats including in the water, up in the trees and hiding in the grass. You’ll also take part in a minibeast craft activity and make your own creepy crawly to take home.

DEN BUILDING PARTY

Can you and your friends build a waterproof den? You’ll be rewarded with toasted marshmallows, once you get the fire alight, and play some woodland games.

NATURAL ARTS & CRAFTS PARTY

Get creative and make some awesome art using natural materials. Options include natural paints, leaf printing, jewellery making and clay animals. Ask for the different options available at your chosen Country Park when booking.

MAGIC ELVES & FAIRIES PARTY

Explore the magic of the woodland and take part in some magical woodland craft activities. Activity options include – fairy & elf homes, magic wand making, magic woodland potion making and fairy crowns.

Please note in dangerous weather conditions there will be an indoor party option. Please ask for details when booking.
